How door entry systems work

Why do I need Paxton door entry systems?

Our door entry system includes an external panel, door control unit, and internal monitor handset. Visitors use the bell button on the external panel to call. You can recognise them via audio or a colour video monitor and grant or deny access.

With a discreet design, it suits various environments. Access options include voice call, proximity token, keypad, and Bluetooth smart credentials with Paxton10. Watch the video for more information.

Door buzzer entry systems

Both wired and wireless door buzzer entry systems can be an extremely useful asset to have, especially in a commercial setting.

Our commercial door buzzer entry system is installed by experts and designed to work to your needs and preferences! The visitor simply presses the doorbell, and someone from inside the building will be notified and press another button which will open the door and allowing access to the building to the visitor, or deny access.

Key fob door entry system

Use a key fob for keyless door entry. These can be remotely deactivated when lost, different to keys which pose a security risk when lost.

These can also be programmed to individual users, so you know who accessed the area and when, compared to keys which don’t provide any information.

Why do I need it?

Our door entry system consists of three simple components: external panel, door control unit and internal monitor handset. Upon approaching your building, visitors call via the bell button on the external panel. Once you have recognised the caller via either the audio or full colour, smart audio/video monitor, you can grant or deny access.

The design is discreet and suitable for a range of environments. To gain access through an entry controlled door, you can voice call, use a proximity token or use keypad options to completely personalise your system. Bluetooth smart credentials are also available with Paxton10. For more information watch the video.
